Development of a time-resolved fluorescence immunoassay based on immunomagnetic beads for gastrin-17

•A new method for the determination of gastrin-17 in human serum was developed by combining time-resolved fluoroimmunoassay with immunomagnetic beads.•We replaced conventional polystyrene 96 well plates with immunomagnetic beads.•This method has high sensitivity, short detection time and wide linear range.
