Equivalence Transformations Of A Fifth-Order Partial Differential Equation With Variable-Coefficients

By using the direct method, we obtain the complete classification of equivalence transformations for a class of fifth-order partial differential equation with variable coefficients. The usual and generalized extended equivalence groups of six disjoint normalized subclasses are presented. Furthermore, with the application of equivalence transformations, the number of variable coefficients is reduced and the transformational properties of the gauged subclasses are proposed.
