Assessment of the correlation between oxidative stress and expression of MMP-2 , TIMP-1 and COX-2 in human aortic smooth muscle cells.

摘要
We did not find any effect of oxidative stress on expression of MMP-2 and TIMP-1 in HASMCs. However, COX-2 mRNA and protein level were elevated in these conditions. There was no correlation between COX-2 activity and MMP-2 and TIMP-1 mRNA expression or protein secretion.
