Prevalence and risk factors for cognitive impairment in patients with psoriasis

Psoriasis is a chronic immune-mediated inflammatory disease which affects 2-3% of the global population, and presents clinically a series of psoriasis homologous comorbidity , which should include cognitive impairment (CI) since this conditions is associated with chronic inflammation and aberrant immune response. However, there is limited information available on cognitive functioning in patients with psoriasis .
