Endometriosis is associated with an increased whole-blood thrombogenicity detected by a novel automated microchip flow-chamber system (T-TAS®).

The alteration of the T-TAS and NLR values supports the thesis of a shift of the equilibrium towards thrombosis in women who have endometriosis. This phenomenon links to a state of chronic inflammation. It is detectable using a novel system for the quantitative assessment of the platelet thrombus formation process under flow conditionsin vitro.
