The role of cardiac CT and MRI in the diagnosis and management of primary cardiac lymphoma: A comprehensive review

•Primary cardiac lymphoma (PCL) is the second most frequent primary cardiac malignancy with preferential involvement of right-sided hear structures.•Cardiac CT and MRI are powerful modalities in the diagnosis, tissue characterization, and follow-up of PCL.•The characteristic findings of PCL including, an infiltrative mass with a vascular encasement, absence of tumor necrosis, and hemorrhage are well-delineated in cardiac CT and CMR.
