An efficient strategy to screen an effective catalyst for NOx-SCR by deducing surface species using DRIFTS

摘要
•Cd, Cr, Cu, Ce, Fe, and Co supported on TiO2 were characterized by DRIFTS.•The peak area reduction rate of adsorbed NH3 and NH4+ were calculated.•These materials were also used in NOx-SCR.•A faster rate indicated a better SCR activity.•DRIFTS was thus a strategy to screen out the best catalyst.
