摘要

•PEComa is collection of tumors arising in wide array of anatomic locations.•AML is the most common PEComa and 7% of AML cases are epithelioid type.•Our patient had AML clinically resembling GIST in rectum.•Surgical removal and biopsy are the only methods of diagnosing PEComa and AML.•Clinicians must be mindful of the characteristics of PEComa and AML.
