The invention discloses an unmanned aerial vehicle polling power transmission line image extraction method, which comprises the following steps: binocular camera calibration: respectively obtaining inner and outer parameter matrixes of a left camera and a right camera and a rotation matrix and a translation vector of the binocular camera; Receiving image data of the binocular camera; performing polar line correction on the image data; carrying out ADCens stereo matching on the image to obtain a disparity map; and performing image segmentation according to the depth map to obtain a pure power transmission line. According to the method, an ADCens stereo matching algorithm and a threshold segmentation algorithm are utilized, and the power transmission line can be quickly and accurately extracted from a complex background.
