Patients characteristics related to screening mammography cancellation and rescheduling rates during the COVID-19 pandemic

•Non-whites canceled mammograms more often than Whites before and during COVID-19.•Non-whites' risk of cancellation increased during COVID-19 compared to Whites'.•Age was also independently associated with missed mammogram during COVID-19.•Rigorous rescheduling effort could help decrease missed screening mammogram.
