Aerobic exercise and cognitive functioning in schizophrenia: Findings of dose-response analysis from a pilot randomized controlled trial

•No relationship was seen between exercise dose-response and schizophrenia cognition.•Aerobic exercise groups had more cognition improvements than the control group.•No significant differences were found in cognition changes between aerobic exercise groups.•Dose-response was not significantly related to aerobic exercise in cognition.
