摘要

•Cognitive functioning may contribute to binge eating disorder or food addiction.•Three-Level Meta-Analysis is interesting to sum-up multiple tasks outcomes.•Our study first confirmed the overall cognitive changes in BED and FA.•Poorer performances on attention and core executive functions were found in BED.•This study highlights the lack of research on the cognitive features of FA.
