Occurrence and remobilization of gold in the Dayingezhuang deposit in Jiaodong, North China Craton: Evidence from textural and geochemical features of pyrite

•Three generations of pyrite were identified at Dayingezhuang.•Auriferous pyrite underwent brittle-plastic deformation and recrystallization.•The Au remobilization occurred via solid-state ductile flow during pyrite deformation.•The Au remobilization is related to the reactivation of the ore-controlling faults.
