Low temperature field dependent magnetic study of the Zn0.5Co0.5Fe2O4 nanoparticles

摘要
•Synthesis of Zn0.5Co0.5Fe2O4 ferrite sample using a Sol Gel method with Rietveld refinement confirms the singe phase cubic structure.•Confirmation of spherical nature and proper distribution of ferrite’s nanoparticles by FESEM with EDAX elemental analysis.•Observation of competition between thermal and magnetic energy.•Study of M-H loop at different temperatures with external magnetic field up to ±5 T.•Fitting of Bloch’s law gives Mo = 113.045 emu/gm, T0 = 547.45 K and αB = 1.5.•Fitting of the Kneller’s law in variable coercivity gives blocking temperature ~360 K.
