摘要
Ketamine is thought to exert its rapid antidepressant effects through restoration of lost synaptic connections. Using PET and [11C]UCB-J, a radioligand that binds to the synaptic vesicle protein 2A (SV2A), we previously showed that lower synaptic density is associated with depression severity. Here, we determined whether ketamine results in an increase in SV2A density.
