摘要

•With random forest algorithm, 9 significant environmental covariates were obtained.•Stratified sampling strategy was achieved through fast mean shift clustering method.•Subarea prediction was applied to the extension prediction of its respective region.•A reliable soil thickness distribution map was obtained.
