摘要

•The performance of fast periodic pulsed reactor with UO2 and PuO2 as fuel is studied.•The two methods of calculating pulse parameters in this paper are feasible.•The theoretical estimation method is useful to study factors affecting pulse parameters.•The pulse parameters of FNPR with UO2 as fuel are inferior to those of IBR-2.
