Obliquely-Cut Horn Antennas Loading A Half-Cylindrical Conductor For A Widely Tilted Sectoral Beam

摘要
This paper presents a compact horn antenna loading a half cylindrical conductor for covering a specified wide circular area with a tilted sectoral beam. The proposed antenna can tilt the radiated beam to direction of 30 degrees at 24GHz by making the structure of the horn an asymmetric structure. Furthermore, a dielectric lens is inserted for supporting the cutting conductor. Usefulness of the proposed antenna is verified numerically.
