摘要
Millimeter-wave (MMW) radar is a non-contact technology that can detect range, velocity and angle information of objects. In addition to using in automotive applications, millimeter-wave radar sensors can also be used for hydrological information measurement. Hence, we use a frequency modulated continuous wave (FMCW) radar operating at 77GHz to measure the water level and flow velocity of rivers. To improve the measurement accuracy, we adopt the Iterative Adaptive Approach (IAA) instead of MUSIC to estimate the angle of flow velocity. Our results show that the accuracy of the water level and the flow velocity are 95% and 89%, respectively.
