Comparison of major nutrients and minerals between organic and conventional tomatoes. A review

•Nutrient content in tomatoes was unrelated to the farming technique.•As, Ca, Cd, Cr, Ni, and Pb concentrations were higher in conventional tomatoes.•No objective evidence was found that organic crops are nutritionally better than conventional crops or vice versa.
