Interfacial thermal conductance between multi-layer graphene sheets and solid/liquid octadecane: A molecular dynamics study

•Determining the interfacial thermal conductance (ITC) of the octadecane-graphene mixtures by the NEMD.•The effects of the numbers of graphene layers and their orientations on the ITC.•Thinner particles show greater ITC in both solid and liquid phase mixtures.•The solid phase paraffin mixture exhibits higher ITC than the liquid phase.•A deeper knowledge of interfacing materials by a molecular level vibrational power spectrum.
