摘要

•A Y-based metal-organic framework ZJU-16 was synthesized by a typical solvothermal method.•ZJU-16 had a satisfactory encapsulation loading of ibuprofen sodium (about 53.46 wt%).•ZJU-16 as a potential oral drug carrier showed excellent pH-responsive release.
