The metallogenic epoch and geological implications of the tungsten-tin polymetallic deposits in southern Jiangxi Province, China: Constraints from cassiterite U-Pb and molybdenite Re-Os isotopic dating

•Ages of W-Sn ores in southern Jiangxi Province are Late Jurassic with a peak at 150 to 160 Ma.•There is none time difference between W-Sn mineralization and granite emplacement, both of which were formed in the Yanshanian period in Nanling.•The tungsten-tin deposits formed during extension of the lithosphere, with igneous intrusions and large-scale ore-forming activity in South China.
