摘要
Spectral overlaps due to elemental, doubly charged, and polyatomic ions can degrade ICP-MS detection limits and measurement accuracy if they exist at the same nominal m/z as the analyte ion being measured. Here we describe a database containing over 2000 ions we have experimentally identified and/or that have been experimentally identified or proposed to exist in the literature (with citations). The database is searchable/filterable by m/z, analyte element, element contained in the potential spectral overlap ion, and ion type (elemental, doubly charged elemental, oxide, hydroxide, hydride, dioxide, trioxide, doubly charged polyatomic, etc.). Included are more than 50 ions that to our knowledge have not been identified previously in the literature.
