Pore structure characterization of tight sandstones via a novel integrated method: A case study of the Sulige gas field, Ordos Basin (Northern China)

•Pore structure can be characterized by combining multiple experimental techniques.•Full size PSDs of pore body and throat can be determined by combining NMR and CMI.•Complexity and irregularity pore structure can be depicted by fractal dimension.•Pore size can be divided into three categories to evaluate each category’s contribution.•A novel permeability model considering classified pore contributions is proposed.
