摘要

•Casting-foaming method is a new way to prepare complex shaped aluminum foam.•A precursor alloy melt containing well-dispersed TiH2 is proposed.•The eutectic Al-Si-Mg alloy melt is compatible with pre-oxidized TiH2 particles.•Mold filling capacity of the casting-foaming method is excellent.
