摘要

•Effect of V doping on the structural, magnetic and transport properties of La0.5Sr0.5CoO3 compound are being investigated.•Dominant FM interactions with increased TC as well as magnetic moment due to V doping is noticed.•Enhanced metallicity as a result of delocalization of electrons with V content supports the FM behaviour.•A proposed mechanism is consistent with all the experimental observations.
