Sinonasal Carcinoma And Ohngren'S Line: Retrospective Cohort Study Of 39 Patients

Approximately two thirds of this study cohort displayed a sinonasal carcinoma extending across Ohngren's line at diagnosis. Tumor extension across Ohngren's line at diagnosis is a negative prognostic factor for clinical outcome in accordance with AJCC 8 edition. 90% of tumors presenting with retropharyngeal lymph node metastasis were extended across Ohngren's line at diagnosis. The presence of retropharyngeal lymph node metastasis is a strong negative prognosticator for survival in our study. Retropharyngeal lymph node metastasis at diagnosis may be considered for inclusion in tumor staging for sinonasal carcinoma.
