摘要
This study confirms prior work suggesting that TCAR confers lower risk of MI as compared with CEA. However, it demonstrates no difference in MI rates between TCAR and CEA performed under LA/RA. Patients undergoing TCAR under GA have lower rates of MI compared with patients undergoing CEA under GA. When stratified by symptomatic status, the benefit of TCAR persists only in symptomatic patients.
