Anti-seizure medication correlated changes of cortical morphology in childhood epilepsy with centrotemporal spikes

•Childhood epilepsy with centrotemporal spikes presents increased cortical thickness in the Rolandic regions.•Anti-seizure medication is associated with normalized changes of cortical morphometry in Rolandic region in childhood epilepsy with centrotemporal spikes.•Cortical morphological alteration may act as a partially pathway for effect of anti-seizure medication on seizure control.
