摘要

Assessed on STS-patients treated at tertiary European sarcoma centres, the 7th and 8th version of the AJCC classification system for STS perform equally well with regards to prognostic accuracy. Simplification of the 8th version by omitting tumour depth and emphasizing the importance of size appears advantageous.
