摘要
•Restoration of elbow flexion is of high priority in brachial plexus surgery. The Oberlin I and II procedures restores elbow flexion in selected cases.•Quantification of elbow flexion power(torque) following single or double neurotisation helps us to identify the preferred procedure when both options are possible.•Comparison of elbow flexion torque after single or double neurotization suggests that double neurotisation gives much stronger elbow flexion.•The authors recommend the double neurotization to single neurotization when median innervated wrist flexors are of normal strength.
