A systematic review of integrative practices in physical education (2009–2018)

•Forty-five integrative physical education studies were established for 2009–2018.•Technology was integrated most frequently, and art was integrated zero times.•Knowledge assessments and physical activity tracking were largely lacking.•An increase in publications found for Math and English language arts integration.•An increase in research from around the world of integrative physical education.
