摘要
•Foliar application of copper hydroxide on hops increased the total copper content of extracts.•Copper-based fungicides had no observed impact on the production of antioxidant compounds during hop growth or as extracts.•The application of foliar copper on hops had no discernable impact on the hop quality vis-à-vis antioxidant compounds.•Field treatment of hops with copper-based fungicides is unlikely to negatively impact the antioxidant quality of beer prepared with those hops.
