摘要
•An optimized HPLC-FD method for eight BAs in cherry tomatoes was validated in-house.•Samples had high serotonin (0.17–0.38 mg/g) and low histamine (0.16–1.2 mg/kg)•Multivariate analysis reduced the number of variables needed to discriminate samples.•Two PCs explained 71% of variance and LDA classification was >95% accurate.•Bioactive compounds were used to classify samples according to cultivation technique.
