摘要

•Hydrophobic metal organic frameworks (MOFs) is synthesized via a one-pot strategy.•4-fluorobenzoic acid was used as modulator and modifier to make hydrophobic MOFs.•The hydrophobic MOFs has good chemical and hydrothermal stability.•The superhydrophobic sponge via in suit growth has high oil absorption ability.
