摘要

•Animal-assisted therapy (AAT) may be beneficial for controlling pain in hospitalized children and teenagers.•AAT considered a complementary intervention to traditional care for controlling blood pressure in hospitalized children and teenagers. AAT had no significant effects on anxiety, depression, stress, and heart rate for hospitalized children and teenagers.
