•Mango Peel as a source of bioenergy, bio-based chemicals productions was investigated.•The apparent activation energy was found in range of 88 kJ mol−1 to 304 kJ mol-1.•Evolved gas analysis was performed to examine chemical compounds.•Py/GC-MS was performed to confirm theme of research manuscript.
