Synthesis, thermal stabilities and solid state analysis of few selected tetrahydro-7H-indeno[2,1-c]quinoline derivatives

•Tetrahydro-7H-indeno[2,1-c]quinoline derivatives were obtained by povarov reaction.•Fusion and decomposition enthalpies were measured using TGA/DSC.•Chemical reactivity descriptors were discussed from B3LYP calculations.•Supramolecular features were analyzed by hirshfeld surfaces and energy frameworks.•XRPD preferred orientation was anticipated from BFDH crystal morphology prediction.
