摘要
The ngVLA is a wide-area synthesis array, and the antennas will be linked to the central reference system via long haul fiber optics. The main purpose of this research is to provide a highly stable microwave-photonics signal over a large broadband from microwave to millimeter-wave frequencies and to provide a precise timing signal through a long-haul optical fiber using the same optical signal generation/transmission system, these techniques make wide spread antennas a coherent / synchronous system.
