•0.88NN-0.12BSN ceramic possesses a desired Wrec of 2.01 J/cm3 and η of 80.3%.•0.88NN-0.12BSN ceramic exhibits a high power density (PD = 88.16 MW/cm3).•0.88NN-0.12BSN ceramic exhibits a large current density (CD = 979.59 A/cm2).•Energy storage properties possess excellent frequency and temperature stability.
