Open science and reform practices in organizational behavior research over time (2011 to 2019)

•We coded transparency & research quality in 4 Org Behavior journals: AMJ, JAP, OBHDP, & Org Sci.•Results showed infrequent use of open science or reform practices from 2011 to 2019.•We found slight increases in transparency over time, especially at OBHDP.•We saw an increase in sample size, but no change in replication or null result.•An optimistic interpretation of results is the field is on the brink of change.
