Synthesis, Characterization, and Antioxidant and Anticancer Activity of 1,4-Disubstituted 1,2,3-triazoles

•Six 1,2,3-triazole derivatives containing a 1,4-disubstitue were synthesized.•The crystal structures of triazole derivatives 7b, 8a, and 9a were studied by X-ray diffraction.•DPPH activity of synthesized compounds was higher than BHT and β-Carotene and lower than Ascorbic acid and Trolox.•Cytotoxicity of the compounds against Hela cell line were investigated.•The electronic effects of the groups attached to the phenyl ring were examined.
