Synthesis and molecular docking study of new 1,3-oxazole clubbed pyridyl-pyrazolines as anticancer and antimicrobial agents

•A series of new 1,3-oxazole clubbed pyridyl-pyrazolines have been synthesized and characterized.•All the new oxazole-pyridyl-pyrazolines have been studied for their in vitro anticancer activity against 60 cancer cell lines at the national cancer institute (USA).•The newly prepared compounds have also been screened for their antimicrobial activity against two gram +ve, two gram –ve and two fungi strains.•Molecular docking study has been performed to understand the interaction between the active molecules and the target enzyme.
