Multiple-fingerprint analysis of Poria cocos polysaccharide by HPLC combined with chemometrics methods

•For the first time a multiple fingerprints strategy was established for quality control of Poria cocos Polysaccharide.•Chemometric analysis was based on the multi-dimensional fingerprints rather than a single fingerprint.•The authenticity of commercial samples was identified by the multiple fingerprints combined with chemometric analysis.
