Extracting clinical terms from radiology reports with deep learning

•We defined information model to represent clinical information in a structured format.•We built a manually annotated dataset with some medical experts from chest CT reports.•We applied the state-of-the art deep learning models to extract clinical terms from the reports.•Our best performance model using in-house and external datasets obtained 95.36% and 94.62%, respectively.
