摘要
Together with the Institute for Addiction Prevention Vienna (Institut fur Suchtpravention - ISP - Wien), the HCI team of IC\\M/T at St. Polten University of Applied Sciences developed the game All Tomorrow’s Parties as part of a contract research. The aim is the playful reflection of risk behaviour and the strengthening of responsibility for friends. The players are in a virtual party crew and play entertaining, realistic episodes of a party night. They make individual decisions with direct impact on the actions of the virtual members and their empowerment skills. Thus, they should try to get their crew unharmed, yet not bored, through the parties of one night. They must not be too careful (little fun), but also not take too much risk (health and social consequences). Target group of the game are vocational students and apprentices between 15 and 18 years, for whom substance consumption is an important part of their leisure and risk experience. A challenge in regard to the target group is dealing with low bandwidth and older devices.
