Study of dynamic adsorption and desorption kinetics of cesium, strontium, cobalt radionuclides on granular phosphate adsorbent

Dynamic adsorption and desorption kinetics of 137 Cs, 85 Sr, 60 Co radionuclides on granulated phosphate adsorbent based of phosphatized dolomite were studied. The influence of the model solutions composition (distilled water, 0.1 M NaCl, 0.05 M CaCl 2 ) on the efficiency of dynamic adsorption was established. Experimental data on the distribution of 137 Cs, 85 Sr, 60 Co radionuclides over the depth of the adsorbent layer were obtained. The mechanism of radionuclides adsorption was proposed. The regularities of desorption kinetics depending on pH (4.0, 7.0, 10.0) and the composition of leaching solutions (distilled water and model sea solution) were studied.
