摘要
Plasmablastic lymphoma (PBL) is a rare but aggressive lymphoma that usually occurs in HIV-positive patients but can also affects immunocompetent individuals.1 The prognosis of patients with PBL is poor. Due to its rarity, no standard of care or treatment guidelines are available. Although recognized by the World Health Organization as a distinct subtype of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL), PBL exhibits many similar cytomorphologic and immunophenotypic features with multiple myeloma.
