•Fe-Ti alloy magnetostrictions |λlong| and |λtrans| < 1 → low vibration and noise levels.•Saturation magnetization MFe-Ti > MNO-Fe-Si, good result for motorś torque that is ∝ M2.•Fe-Ti alloy has negative magnetostriction and μr = 2700, suitable for motorś core under compression.
